We are excited to be partnering with Rising Light Ridge to provide an introduction to their therapeutic horse program. The Rising Light Ridge Equestrian Center offers equine experiences to individuals of all abilities. Whether grooming, leading, riding, or just being in the presence of the horses, our equine partners create truly unique experiences for each participant. Please join us at their cozy farm in Harveys Lake on November 4th, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. 
The day will start off with an introduction to general barn rules, etiquette, and horse sense and safety discussion. This will be followed by small groups participating in activities such as grooming horses in the arena, and learning to lead horses by hand. There will also be a demonstration of mounted activities, and your very own photo op with a horse. In addition to arena activities, there will be a cornhole competition outside, along with the opportunity to participate in hikes around the pasture in a “Rosie” chair. We’ll also enjoy a bonfire and s’mores making.
